This is a rendition of my favorite scene from Blinded by the Setting Sun by MURO. The night after Lord Hildegar’s identity is revealed to Elkin as both the woman he loves and the target of his vendetta, Hildegar runs away into the bitter cold of the North. This is the moment he finds her sitting alone in the cold with no country and fully prepared for him to hate her. The moment he takes her into his hands and feels how small the terrifying Solar Knight actually is, and completely forgives her. I had the screenshot saved on my phone for over a year until i got around to painting it. I finished this last month i think?
